The data was produced as DEM. Data can be used in GIS environment.
The data provided is a Digital Elevation Model covering approximately 1739 square-kilometres in southern Manitoba. It includes the Arrow Oak watershed and a portion of the Central Assinboine watershed. DEM files were produced at 1-metre resolution.

The aerial survey was conducted to collect LiDAR data with a Nominal Pulse Density (NPD) of 4ppsm (Pulses per Square Metre). The NPD is the ratio of the number of first-return pulses to the area of the project. The ground survey was conducted between November 10 and 17, 2017 using a Leica GS14 RTK system and was processed using Leica Geo Office. The aerial survey was completed over 8 flights between October 22 and November 6, 2017 using a Leica ALS70-HP LiDAR sensor and a Leica IPAS CUS6 airborne GPS/IMU aboard a PA-31 Piper Navajo aircraft. The ALS70-HP collects an unlimited number of return pulse with intensity data on the first three returns. Mission Specifications: Above Ground Level (AGL) Flying Height: 1400m Mean Sea Level (MSL) Flying Height: 1800m Average Ground Speed: 140kts Scan Rate: 47Hz Pulse Rate: 360kHz Field of View: 50° Lateral Overlap: 15%

Ground control was observed and Cannet BRDN, GLEN, MOOS, NEP, REST, RLAC, SHOA reference stations was used to reference ABGPS. Accuracy value is based on the aggregate error inherent in the production process.

Lidar is acquired on Oct 22, 23, 24, 25, 27 and Nov 11, 2017. Lidar is calibrated with NAD83 (CSRS) and CGVD28 datum using UTM 14 North projection and is classified. The classified data was used to create the DEM using the following classes: 2 (all ground features that exist). DEM was created at a 1m resoultion and then exported out as a Geotiff with 32 bit floating elevations. Images were cut into tiles based on the lidar index .
