Digital ortho photos are raster .TIF files and you may need to set your default viewer for automatic display as indicated below or alternatively set your default viewer to any other suitable .TIF image viewer. In the example below, the Microsoft "wangimg" viewer is used to display the ortho photo .TIF files.
In Microsoft Explorer (file manager) choose "VIEW" then "OPTIONS". In the "OPTIONS" window, double click the select "FILE TYPES" to be "TIF Image Document". You will get a new window called "EDIT FILE TYPES". Within that window, change your "Default Extension for Content Type" to be .TIF instead of .TIFF
Also make sure that the file "open" option (double click the word "open") is set to the following default viewer in order to automatically display the digital ortho photos on the screen:
"C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\ImageVue\wangimg.exe"
