Frequently-anticipated questions:

What does this data set describe?

Title: Manitoba's Forest Sections: Version 4
Abstract:
The forested portion of the province has been divided into ten Forest Sections that generally relate to common forest conditions throughout the Forest Section. These Forest Sections are comprised of Forest Management Units (FMU's) that further define a forested area with common forest conditions that are managed in a similar manner.

Why was the data set created?

This feature class represents the boundaries of Manitoba's forest sections. Version 4 splits the 'White Zone' forest section by ecozones, creating the Southern Arctic, Taiga Shield, Boreal Shield and Hudson Plain forest sections.
