The data was produced as DEM. Data can be used in GIS environment.
The data provided is a Digital Elevation Model covering 2456 square-kilometres in southern Manitoba. It includes portions of the Seine River, Rat River and La Salle watersheds. DEM files were produced at 1-metre resolution.

The aerial survey was conducted over 16 flights between September 26, 2015 and October 17, 2016 using Leica ALS70-HP 500kHz Multiple Pulse in Air (MPiA) LiDAR sensor system aboard a Piper Navajo PA-31 aircraft. ATLIS combined data from two projects to create the dataset for this project: City of Winnipeg Spec and Southern Manitoba Spec. The two projects were collected and processed independently using these mission specifications: CITY OF WINNIPEG: Above Ground Level (AGL) Flying Height: 950m Mean Sea Level (MSL) Flying Height: 1150m Average Ground Speed: 140kts Scan Rate: 53.4Hz Pulse Rate: 500kHz Field of View: 45° Lateral Overlap: 30% SOUTHERN MANITOBA: Above Ground Level (AGL) Flying Height: 1500m Mean Sea Level (MSL) Flying Height: 1700m Average Ground Speed: 150kts Scan Rate: 46.9Hz Pulse Rate: 343.4kHz Field of View: 50° Lateral Overlap: 30%

Lidar was acquired on Oct 24, Nov 13, Nov 14, Nov 15, Sept 29, 2015 and Apr 27, May 4, May 18, May 21, July 25, July 27, July 28, July 29, Oct 17, 2016. The acquired Lidar data was part of another project that was encompassed with the Seine-Rat River Conservation District area of interest. Lidar is calibrated with NAD83 (CSRS) and CGVD28 datum using UTM 14 North projection and is classified. The classified data was used to create the DEM using the following classes: 2 (all ground features that exist). DEM was created at a 1m resoultion and then exported out as a Geotiff with 32 bit floating elevations. Images were cut into tiles based on the lidar index .
