Copied data from four DVD's to the network drive.
Imported all TIF files with had ECW compression into ERDAS/LEICA Imagine files. These new imagine files where then mosaiked into one seamless file with an uncompressed file size of approximately 9.7 GB's. This image was then moved to a PC with an O/S of XP and compressed using Mr. SID 4.1 and creating a compressed file of Generation 2 at a ratio of 15:1 creating an output file approximately 752 MG. Additionally another utility created by Mr. SID was used to create the SDW file which contains the projection information for the image.
